Apr 9, 2012 - The interest in the sport in Britain is stupidly tiny, but once involved there is loads to do! I have been playing for a year and been in goal for 6 months, I actually don't know what I did with my life before hockey, and regret not starting earlier. This team is looking fab and it's great to see the enthusiasm :) keep it up Australia!

lilelementskater Says:

Mar 7, 2012 - riverside rangers why would that matter

anniemae62 Says:

Dec 27, 2011 - Who do you play for?

60sisthashit Says:

Jul 12, 2011 - You don't really need too many players to get results. Norway for instance, has only a little more then 6000 registered players, still we reached quarter-finals in 2008 and 2011, we've beat Sweden, Canada and the Czechs and we played in the olympics...At least we've got a good foundation to be able to fight for a medal in the short term...though, you need to get players to bigger leagues...

Mar 23, 2011 - When you say 'hockey' in Australia, its assumed you mean field. I am an Australian female ice hockey player and my local rink is practically a mini canada, most of the players were born there :P seriously, there are like 2000 registered ice hockey players in Australia. I don't know how many are female. Not many. There's so few, I have to train with the boys!

Jays3104 Says:

Mar 12, 2011 - Firsrt thing they must do in order to be taking seriously is to stop saying " ice Hockey".

ralphyization Says:

Dec 21, 2010 - I hope they can make a real "go of it"!! If they're training in Canada, at least they have a fighting chance,eh?

Aug 24, 2010 - Australia = warm Canada. Canada = cold Australia. lol

FearOfTheFlesh Says:

Aug 12, 2010 - It's not the Jamaican Bob Sled syndrome thing, but I think we Canadians look at Australians as being the closest people to us. Our weather is very different and we are on opposite ends of the world, but we both follow the same political system, have relatively close population sizes, amazingly similar history, values, gdp, laid back attitude, love for alcoholic beverages <--prob our downfall -_-', and the outgoing welcoming yet suprisingly patriotic attitude.

Canuckchick52 Says:

Jun 15, 2010 - As a Canadian hockey player, hockey is practically my religion. I'd love nothing more then to play it all day, everyday.

pizzaboy2cool Says:

hockeyqueen Says:

May 17, 2010 - Hey we need more teams on the International stage. Aussies will be welcomed with open arms if they want to train in Canada. We know our hockey and we love to share the love!

Jan 26, 2010 - we don't win gold every year usa is the favorite in womens hockey and in the mens some are saying russia and sweden have a stonger team then canada but i think canada has a more all around team allstar goalies, defence men and forwards not all of them have that much depth on there team

guythatplayshockey04 Says:
